TX-GOV: Hutchison may miss big Cheney moment

It must be exciting to have the chance to bathe in the glow of Dick Cheney's warmth, charm and humanity - especially if he is endorsing you for high public office. Sadly for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), she may have to miss the formal endorsement of her gubernatorial campaign by the former Vice-President. The Austin American-Statesman's Postcards blog says that Hutchison may have to be in Washington DC for a crucial Senate vote on healthcare while Cheney is in Houston, declaring his support for her run against incumbent Republican Governor Rick Perry.
