IL-SEN: Hoffman claims to be more electable than Giannoulias

While Democratic Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias trails leading Republican hopeful Mark Kirk by just three points, Democratic rival David Hoffman - who trails Kirk by seven - still claims to be the more electable of the two. The Hoffman campaign released some of its own polling data on Tuesday and The Hill reports that Hoffman believes Giannoulias' lead over him to be solely down to name recognition, and that Hoffman claims that Giannoulias is vulnerable given the connections between Chicago's Broadway Bank (owned by Giannoulias' family) and "convicted political fixer" Tony Rezko.
